FFL Transfers
FFL – SUMMARY
Thank you for choosing to utilize KY Gunsmithing, LLC for your FFL transfer process. This is what you need to know:
Fees for Transfers:
$15.00 for each firearm
$10.00 for CCDW holders
Buyer
1) Please email us (kevin@kygunsmithing.com) a copy of the sales order or auction confirmation numbers, along with the contact information of the actual seller. This speeds the process of connecting the dots for the seller, many of which are completing hundreds of sales per day.
2) Please email us a copy of the courier tracking number. This helps us know there is an inbound package requiring the signature of an adult.
3) We will call the buyer once the item(s) has been received, processed and made ready for transfer. Please allow 24 hours for processing before contacting us. Buyer must have an appointment to pick up packages. A buyer that appears without an appointment will certainly be disappointed.
Seller / Buyer
Abandoned item(s)/Product Ownership:
In the event item(s) is/are received by KY Gunsmithing on behalf of the buyer, and the buyer does not claim product in 30 calendar days from the date item(s) was received, or the item(s) cannot be transferred due to NIC’s delays, the item(s) will be shipped back to the seller via COD. The COD amount will include any shipping and handling fee(s). If the original seller does not accept the package or does not pay the COD amount and the package is returned to KY Gunsmithing for whatever the reason, the item(s) will become property of KY Gunsmithing after a total of 90 days from the original date the item(s) were received, the buyer will not receive payment for the item(s) value and the item(s) ownership, and any value held, is then transferred to KY Gunsmithing. KY Gunsmithing may dispose of the firearm at their discretion.
